Alan is a Society of Construction Law Hong Kong Scholar.

Alan was called to the Bar in 2025 and joined Chambers upon completing his pupillage with Mr C Y Li SC, Mr James Wong, Mr Jeremy Kwong, and Dr Solomon Lam.

Before joining the Bar, Alan practised as a chartered surveyor in both public and private practice.

He is developing a mixed civil and criminal practice, focusing on land and construction disputes as well as construction adjudication—reflecting his surveying background. He has completed the HKIAC & CIArb (EAB) Adjudication Training and accepts related instructions.

He also has exposure to compulsory sale for redevelopment, adverse possession, conveyancing, Appeal Tribunal (Buildings) proceedings, and building management disputes.

He also serves as a lecturer at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, delivering the university’s first RICS-accredited course.
